Claude Opus 5.5 fast mode opens without waitlistAPI update
Anthropic removed the waitlist and beta header for fast mode on Claude Opus 5.5, giving Start, Build and Scale tier API customers (and Claude in Microsoft Foundry on Azure) up to 2.5x higher output tokens per second. Fast mode is priced at $8 per million input tokens and $40 per million output tokens.
