NVIDIA entered a definitive agreement to acquire Hugging Face for $12.9303 billion. The companies said Hugging Face would retain its brand, platform, open-source commitments, and multi-cloud, multi-accelerator approach pending closing.

The Information reported that Hugging Face's annualized revenue had jumped about 50% in two months to more than $150 million, driven by paid compute, storage and subscriptions around its model hub, as Nvidia agreed to acquire the company. Hugging Face has not confirmed the figure.
